WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A Delaware man has been found guilty of rape and home invasion charges stemming from what prosecutors say was a violent attack on his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend.

Thirty-seven-year-old Jerome Madison Jr. of Bear was convicted of two counts of first-degree rape, home invasion, unlawful sexual contact and a string of other charges in Delaware Superior Court on Wednesday.

Madison faces between 42 years to life in prison at his January sentencing

Prosecutors and court records say last Christmas Eve, Madison broke into his ex-girlfriend's home in Bear, viciously beat her and her boyfriend, and forced them to perform sex acts as he held them at knifepoint. They say he also slashed her boyfriend.

Madison did not dispute most of the facts.
