EASTON, Md.- Maryland State Police say they arrested a woman for DUI after she crashed into a utility pole in Easton.

On October 5th, at 11:12 a.m., Maryland State Police say they responded to a single vehicle crash at Rt. 33 at Pendleton Farms Lane. Police say a 1997 Oldsmobile, driven by 29-year-old Rebecca Marie Bosley, of Federalsburg, crashed into a utility pole causing a small fire in the grass.

Police say Bosley refused treatment at the scene. They also say she failed a field sobriety test and was charged with Driving Under the Influence and Negligence.

Police say Bosley was arrested and transported to Easton Maryland State Police Barrack where she was released to a sober driver.

Maryland State Police say they were assisted by St. Michaels and Easton Fire and EMS, Talbot County Sheriff Department, SHA, and Choptank Electric.

The road was closed for just under 2 hours, according to police.
