BALTIMORE (AP) - Democratic Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Republican Larry Hogan are having their first televised debate in the governor's race in Maryland.
The debate is scheduled to take place Tuesday morning at WJZ-TV's studio in Baltimore. WJZ is co-hosting the debate with The Baltimore Sun.
The hour-long debate is being taped in the morning. It is scheduled to be broadcast Tuesday evening between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Two more televised debates are planned before November's election, which will result in a new governor for the state.
Incumbent Gov. Martin O'Malley, a Democrat, is term limited after serving two terms. His second and final term ends in January.
