Autumn Wine Festival Returns

SALISBURY, Md. - Wicomico County's Autumn Wine Festival, in partnership with the Maryland Wineries Association, returns to Salisbury's Pemberton Park next Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19.

The festival offers unlimited samples of wine from over 20 Maryland wineries.

Festival-goers interested in a more intimate experience can upgrade their tickets to receive the VIP treatment on Saturday. The VIP experience offers a covered tent area, reserved parking, private restroom facilities, a television lounge area, hors d'oeuvres, wine tastings, festival t-shirt and gift bag.

The festival has partnered up with the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District to introduce an ‘Artisan Area' on Sunday. The area will showcase the talent of regional artists who work within the Arts District in Downtown Salisbury, including Christina Jarmolinski, Corinne Beardsley, Joni Simpson and Sarah Halcott and Robert Johnson of Amused Studios. These artists will be displaying their work and creating new pieces throughout the day.

Wine connoisseurs and first time samplers alike enjoy this annual event, which also features live music, the weekend's biggest games in the Centre at Salisbury Sports Zone, regional cuisine and craft and commercial vendors. Tickets are on sale now at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center and online.
