Police Release Photos of Suspects in Federalsburg Bank Robbery


FEDERALSBURG, Md. – Police have released photos of the two suspects they say robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

The Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division is assisting Federalsburg Police Department in identifying the suspects, who removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller drawers at the PNC Bank located at 3352 Hayman Drive, police say.

According to officers, it happened around 3:40 p.m. One suspect took the money, while the other stood watch in the main lobby near the front door, holding customers and employees at gunpoint. Police say both suspects were seen running away.

Investigators are comparing leads and developing information, which they say will lead to the identity of these suspects.

PNC Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the suspects' arrest and conviction.
