EDEN, Md.- Detectives with the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation have arrested three suspects in connection with a Monday morning home invasion that occurred in Eden.

Davonte Rodney Beckette, 19, of Eden; Lanire Landau Bright, 19, of Princess Anne; and Marquavis McCuller, 20, also of Princess Anne, are each charged with home invasion, first- and fourth-degree burglary, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of robbery, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, handgun on person and two counts of theft less than $100.

The suspects' arrests stemmed from an incident that allegedly happened shortly before 9 a.m. Monday at a home located on the 4000 block of South Upper Ferry Road.

Investigators said the suspects entered the home, brandished pistols, and demanded money and car keys from the elderly residents. The victims were asleep in their bedroom at the time of the incident, police said.

One of the suspects struck the male victim in the head with a pistol, investigators said. He was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury where he was treated and released.

Police said the suspects then fled the home before police arrived on scene.

On Wednesday, WBI detectives applied for and received three arrest warrants for Beckette, Bright and McCuller. The suspects were arrested a short time later on the aforementioned charges and turned over to the custody of the Wicomico County Detention Center.
