DSP Seek Help in Identifying Shoplifting Suspect

 REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. -  The Delaware State Police is asking the public's help in attempting to identify a man who they say shoved a K-Mart employee as he attempted to take a shirt from the store.

Police say it happened just before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the K-Mart at 19562 Coastal Highway. Police say a white male subject was seen by a store employee removing a shirt from a sale display and pushing it into his pants to conceal it. When the employee confronted the man at the door about the shoplifting, police say the suspect shoved the victim in the chest and fled out the door.

Police say as he was running away, the man removed the shirt from his pants and threw it on the floor.

Police say the suspect is described as a white male approximately 40 years of age, heavy set build, wearing khaki pants and a dark blue zip up fleece shirt.
