Burglary at the Coca Cola Company Leads to Two Arrests

EASTON, Md.– Two Easton men face multiple charges after being arrested in relation to a break in at the Coca Cola Company early Thursday morning.

According to police, Skye Alexander Lloyd, 19, and Ian Daniel Nottingham, 20, are suspected of breaking into multiple trucks and removing property from the Coca Cola Company on Commerce Drive. Officers said that while in custody, they found evidence that may link the two men to other recent burglaries.

Police said the arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred at around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, when officers responded to a report of a possible intruder at the company.

According to police, employees said they saw two backpacks lying near a fence. Police say one employee saw someone inside the locked fence area.

Police surrounded the two blocks around the building and began to search the property. They said they were able to narrow the search to one section of the company's storage area where they arrested the men.

Lloyd and Nottingham are charged with burglary, malicious destruction of property, theft, concealed weapons and offenses related to possessing burglary tools.

They are being held at Talbot County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
