DOVER, Del.– The Biggs Museum of American Art will host a lecture and screening Nov. 8, featuring a speaker whose mother was a Holocaust survivor.

Voices of the Generations: This is Your Life, featuring Julie Kohner, is a free program at the museum that will begin at 2 p.m.

Kohner, daughter of Holocaust survivors Hanna and Walter Kohner, will show a screening of the television show This Is Your Life, which features her mother, and discuss its impact on America's understanding of the Holocaust.

Hanna Kohner made history as the first Holocaust survivor to share her story on American national television during a 1953 episode of This Is Your Life, a program that recounted the lives of guests through surprise visits from their friends and families.
