Salisbury Traffic Patterns Affected by Paving Projects

Posted:

SALISBURY, Md. – Milling and Paving projects will impact traffic flow on several Salisbury roadways through Oct. 25.

Salisbury Public Works said a contractor will be affecting the flow of traffic on the following streets:

  • Ashylon Street from North Division Street to Route 13
  • Kent Avenue from Jefferson Street to Pricilla Street
  • Middle Boulevard from Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive
  • Monticello Avenue from Smith Street to Hanover Street
  • North Boulevard from Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive
  • Virginia Avenue from Camden Ave to Riverside Road
  • Rose Street from Lake Street to Delaware Avenue
  • Smith Street from Middle Boulevard to South Boulevard
  • South Boulevard from Camden Avenue to Waverly Drive
  • Vine Street from Route 13 to Eastern Shore Drive.

Drivers should expect delays due to traffic pattern modifications, according to Salisbury Public Works.

“We are proud to be updating streets in our residential neighborhoods and to be making the paving investment in front of Evolution Craft Brewery,” said Mayor Jim Ireton. “To finish this early in the FY2015 Fiscal Year is no small feat.”
