Two Suspects Sought in Seaford Bank Robbery


SEAFORD, Del.- Police are looking for two men who robbed the PNC Bank on Stein Highway in Seaford on Tuesday afternoon.

Seaford Police said the suspects entered the bank at approximately 4:34 p.m. Tuesday. According to police, one suspect remained by the front door and brandished a handgun, ordering the customers to get on the floor. The second suspect jumped the teller counter and removed an undisclosed amount of US currency, police said. Both suspects ran from the scene in a northeast direction, according to police. Seaford Police said that as additional officers arrived, the area was checked with the assistance of the Delaware State Police K-9.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, approximately 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 9-inches tall with a medium build, and wearing all black clothing with a hoodie. The other suspect is a black male, 5-feet 10-inches to 6-feet tall with a medium build and also wearing all black clothing. A surveillance photo of one of the suspects is attached.

Seaford Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and will be handling the investigation. Delaware Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person or persons involved.
