Suspects Sought in Dover Armed Robbery

DOVER, Del.– Dover police are looking for two suspects who held up a man at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Police said that at around 12:45 a.m. the 30-year-old victim was walking on North State Street in the area of Delaware Avenue when he was approached by the two suspects, who displayed black handguns and demanded the victim's property.

The suspects took the victim's cellphone, wallet and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing northbound on foot toward Mary Street, police said.

Police said the suspects were described as two black males, both wearing red hooded sweatshirts.

The Dover Police Department is asking anyone with information about this incident to call (302) 736-7111.
