Salisbury Man Arrested After Girlfriend Reports Assault

SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is being detained on assault charges after his girlfriend showed police injuries she says he caused.

Emerson Prattis, 50, was arrested Tuesday at 3:39 p.m. after his girlfriend reported the assault, police say.

According to officers, the injuries on the girlfriend's body corroborated her account. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of those injuries.

Police charged Prattis with second degree assault and reckless endangerment. He is being held at the Detention Center in lieu of $25,000 bond.
