Delaware Students Get to Weigh in on Election

Posted: Updated:

DOVER, Del. (AP) - Delaware high school students are getting an early chance to weigh in on next week's elections.

Students from around the state were to gather Friday at Legislative Hall in Dover for the 2014 Student Mock Election Convention.

They'll be joined by Gov. Jack Markell, state election commissioner Elaine Manlove and other officials.

Students will have the opportunity to vote on each statewide race. They'll have a chance to compare their preferences to the real election results after the polls close Tuesday.
