Two Boaters Rescued from Indian River Inlet

INDIAN RIVER INLET, Del.- The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two boaters Monday after their boat ran aground near the north side of the jetty at the Indian River Inlet around 6:30 p.m. 

The two men were pulled from the boat by a Coast Guard rescue vessel.  According to coast guard officials, at least one of the boaters had lacerations. 

Officials continue to investigate how the boating accident happened in Sussex County.
