Four Teens Charged in Three Dover Burglaries

DOVER, Del.– Dover police have arrested four teenage suspects accused of breaking into three businesses in the Tudor Industrial Park Sunday night.

The suspects, identified as a 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, all of Dover, and a 15-year-old boy, of Smyrna, are each charged with three counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of possession of burglar tools, two counts of criminal mischief under $1,000 and one count of theft under $1,500. 

Police said that at LineX and Tudor Enterprises, located at 1053 and 1055 Barl Court respectively, the suspects ransacked the buildings after using a cigarette receptacle to break the front windows.

At Frito Lay, on 701 Otis Drive, police said the suspects entered the business through an unsecured rear door and stole several bags of chips.

According to officers, the teens were captured on video surveillance and identified by an officer assigned to the Youth Division of the Dover Police Department, leading to their arrests.
