FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin and Rep. John Delaney are scheduled to discuss defense procurement contracting prospects.
They are scheduled to talk at a meeting Friday in Frederick.
They will be joined by officials from Fort Meade, Fort Detrick and the Aberdeen Proving Ground to discuss prospects with regional business and educational leaders.
The event is sponsored by the Strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region for Tomorrow organization. The group aims to build stronger relationships and discuss procurement forecasts among officials in industry, communities, government and academia.
