Fire Officials Rule Arson Caused Millsboro Mobile Home Fire

MILLSBORO, Del. – A fire that severely damaged a doublewide mobile home in Millsboro last week was the result of arson, the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office said Monday.

The blaze happened Nov. 13 on the 35000 block of Sussex Lane at around 8:47 a.m., fire officials said. The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, assisted by the Lewes and Millsboro fire companies, extinguished the flames. There were no reported injuries.

Total fire damage was estimated at $35,000.
