Posted:
WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) - A fifth suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a 16-year-old student near his northern Virginia high school.

Prince William County Police said Monday a 16-year-old girl has been arrested and now faces a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony.

Four other young adults have been arrested in last week's killing of Brenden Wilson near Woodbridge High School.

Twenty-year-old Kawain Smalls of Woodbridge is the only one of them charged with murder. The other four have been charged with conspiracy to commit a felony.

Police say Smalls and the four teens charged were all at the scene of Wilson's shooting after planning to rob him during a drug transaction. Smalls is accused of being the shooter.
