Dover Man Wanted in Home Invasion


DOVER, Del. - The Dover Police Department is looking for the public's help in finding a Dover man wanted in connection to a home invasion in Dover on Saturday.

According to the victim's of the home invasion, 27-year-old Erik Wyatte kicked their door open and entered their apartment.  Police said the victims reported Wyatte in their apartment with a black hand gun.  Police say Wyatte demanded money but fled when he was approached by one of the victims.

Wyatte was seen outside of the residence by a responding officer but fled the scene.  Police say when Wyatte fled, he dropped his wallet which contained his ID card which confirmed his identity to police.  Wyatte is wanted on numerous charges including attempted 1st degree robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
