WILMINGTON, Del.—The Delaware Early Childhood Council, along with the Office of Early Learning, has announced it will host the 2014 Annual Early Learning Summit on Wednesday, Nov.19. The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Center at Delaware State University in Dover, Del.
The summit is set to feature a “connect to purpose” panel discussion with members of the early childhood community, a stock take on progress under the state's Early Learning Challenge Grant from Jennifer Ranji, Secretary of Delaware's Children's Department, and an opportunity for group collaboration.
At 11:30 a.m. the council will present awards honoring the work of four extraordinary individuals contributing to Delaware's success in early learning system development and who are making a positive difference in communities across the state.
