EASTON, Md. – A messy altercation ensued Tuesday when a couple's bickering over condiments led to a woman's arrest, according to Easton police.

Police said officers responded to a home on Lauren Lane in reference to a verbal domestic dispute. Police said that when officers arrived on the scene, a man told them his girlfriend, later identified as 52-year-old Elissa Maria Moore, had stabbed him in the left forearm while they were fighting over ketchup and mustard for a hamburger.

Officers saw the injury and arrested Moore. She was charged with first- and second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and reckless endangerment. Moore was taken before the District Court Commissioner and released on her personal recognizance.
