Man Charged with Drug Offenses After Traffic Stop

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have arrested a man on drug charges after a traffic stop in Wilmington.

It happened Tuesday around Maryland and East Reamer avenues. Officers stopped a car and say when a passenger got out, they saw drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say a search of the passenger turned up 117 bags of heroin.

Twenty-nine-year-old Joseph Flowers of Wilmington was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and other offenses. substance and other offenses.
