EASTON, Md. –  Officers from the Easton Police Department Bike Unit arrested four juveniles after an incident at the Easton Plaza Shopping Center Friday night.

At 11:15 p.m. Friday, the officers were on patrol when they were flagged down by a man who was working at the Acapulco Restaurant, which at that time was functioning as a bar/night club. The man told the officers that four juveniles had attempted to enter the restaurant and when he refused to allow them to enter the business because of their age, he said one of the juveniles tried to harm him.

Officers located the four juveniles hiding in some bushes of the shopping center near the bowling alley. When they made contact with the juveniles, police said they began running towards the back of the shopping center. The officers were able to detain all four of them, and they were taken into custody. They were refereed to the Department of Juvenile Services for trespassing on posted property and obstructing and hindering a police officer. The juveniles were released to the custody of their parents.
