HOCKESSIN, Del. (AP) - Two people were injured when a car crashed into the lobby of a building in a Hockessin retirement community.

New Castle County Paramedics say it happened about 3:25 p.m. Wednesday at Cokesbury Village. Officials say a car crashed through a glass entrance and into the lobby.

Paramedics spokeswoman Cpl. Abigail Haas says the car hit two people who were standing in the lobby. One, an 89-year-old man, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Another person has minor injuries.

New Castle County police are investigating the crash.
