House Fire in Roanoke Ruled Arson

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) - Roanoke authorities say a house fire that killed a person was deliberately set.

Roanoke Fire-EMS tells media outlets that the fire was reported at 7:39 a.m. Saturday. Firefighters recovered a body from the house.

The body was sent to the medical examiner's office. The victim hasn't been identified.

The fire remains under investigation by Roanoke police and the city fire marshal.
