Smyrna Police Search for Suspect in Gas Station Robbery

SMYRNA, Del.- The Smyrna Police Department is asking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed a gas station early Monday morning.

Officers say that shortly before 1 a.m. a male suspect entered the Valero Gas Station, located at 313 North DuPont Boulevard, and demanded money from a female employee.

According to police, he then took off with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran south from the store.

The suspect is described as white with blonde hair, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-0, possible facial hair and was last seen wearing work boots, green style convertible cargo pants, a tan jacket, and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt pulled over his face.
