EASTON, MD - The city of Easton is getting ready to throw quite a party on New Years Eve, and WBOC Reporter Lindsay Tuchman will be a part of
First Night Talbot, reporting live at the Annual Crab Drop for CNN's New Year's Eve show hosted by Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin.
Each year at this time, the city raises a large 8-foot by 8-foot crab along South Harrison Street. There will be 2 crab drops on New Year's Eve. The first at 9pm for young children, and another at midnight for anyone who wants to attend.
First Night Talbot is getting worldwide attention as CNN (Cable News Network) plans to broadcast the event worldwide as the small town celebration. Lindsay, daughter of CNN Reporter Gary Tuchman, will be a part of the broadcast from Easton on Wednesday night as family, friends and the city of Easton ring in the New Year.
