Hogan Visiting 3 Western Md. Counties to Thank Supporters

Posted: Updated:

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) - Gov.-elect Larry Hogan is making a swing through three western Maryland counties to thank voters who helped him win the November election.

Hogan's office says he'll be at the Wisp resort in Garrett County Saturday night. He'll have lunch Sunday in Cumberland with Allegany County officials before stopping in Williamsport to thank Washington County supporters.

Hogan's victory in November made him the first Republican to win a Maryland governor's race since 2002.

He won more than 70 percent of the vote in Allegany and Washington counties and nearly 80 percent in Garrett County.
