HARRINGTON, Del. - Police say a Harrington woman was arrested Monday for two counts of identity theft.

In October 2014, authorities say the Harrington Police Department was contacted by a person who said someone had attempted to obtain two credit cards using the victim's information. Police say detectives conducted an investigation and determined that when the victim conducted a credit check on herself, they found the address listed on the credit card applications by the suspect was on Arkansas Drive in Harrington.

Police say they were able to identify 44-year-old Lisa M. Kellam as the suspect. They say detectives determined Kellam obtained the victim's information from her previous place of employment.

Police obtained a warrant for Kellam and on Monday she turned herself into the Harrington Police Department for processing. Police say she was charged with two counts of identity theft. She was processed and arraigned via video phone at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and was released on $8,000 unsecured bond.
