Multiple Stop Signs Illegally Removed in Trappe, Md.

TRAPPE, Md. - Deputies with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office are warning drivers to be on the lookout for stop signs that are knocked over.

Deputies say on January 1, they discovered several stop signs lifted from the ground and placed nearby flat on the ground in various places in Trappe, Maryland. Deputies say the signs were not visible to traffic which is very dangerous.

Authorities say the signs were removed from the intersections of Bambury, Kates Point, Clarks Wharf and Windy Hill Roads. They say the signs were not damaged and were immediately placed back in position.
