Multiple Agencies Search for Suspect After Shots Fired in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Police are searching for a suspect following reports of shots fired in a residence in Salisbury.

According to Salisbury Police Chief Barbara Duncan, the shooting occurred in the 200 block of Records Street at approximately 6:10 p.m. Wednesday. At 7:15 p.m., she said multiple agencies were on scene and a K9 track was underway for the suspect, described as a black male in his 20's with a skinny/thin build, wearing a hooded jacket. Shortly before 10 p.m., Salisbury Police told WBOC the search for the suspect continued.

Chief Duncan said no injuries have been reported.

"There is no information to lead authorities to believe there is a continuing threat in the neighborhood," Duncan told WBOC.
