Suspect Sought in Seaford Armed Robbery


SEAFORD, Del.- Seaford police are looking for a suspect wanted for holding up the Rite Aid pharmacy located on the 900 block of Stein Highway.

Police said the crime happened at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, when a male suspect approached a clerk, displayed a silver handgun and demanded money. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the store on foot. 

A Delaware State Police K-9 unit assisted in a search for the suspect but the suspect was not located. 

According to police, the suspect was described as white, in his late 30s to early 40s, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6, wearing a blue sweatshirt with writing on front, blue jeans and a black mask.
