Wilmington Police Make Arrest in Latest Fatal Shooting

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police have made an arrest in the city's most recent fatal shooting.

Police said Wednesday that 22-year-old Rishawn McNeil has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 26-year-old Donnell Clark.

Clark was shot Tuesday afternoon on East 17th Street and died at a hospital. Police say detectives quickly developed McNeil as a suspect. He was arrested at a home about a half-mile from the shooting scene. He's being held without bail.

Six people have been fatally shot in Wilmington this year. This past weekend, seven people were shot in a 48-hour period, including two who died.
