MILFORD, Del. - Milford Police say five people were arrested Tuesday for attempting carjacking. One person is still on the run, according to police.

On January 28, the Milford Police say they were requested to assist the Delaware State Police by stopping two vehicles which were reported to have been involved in an incident in Milton.

Police say they found that stemming from that incident, the victim followed the vehicle to Milford. Police say 21-year-old Shadaira Harris and 25-year-old Sheena Floyd were in the vehicle, and once in Milford, called up four other other people in a nearby home on South Washington Street who then opened the victim's car door and began assaulting the victim. The four other people who were in the house were identified as 23-year-old Jamaal Harpe, 19-year-old Timothy Jarvis, 20-year-old Kareem Trammell, and 23-year-old Aubrey Jarvis.

Police say once inside the car, the group began to assault the victim and remove the victim's personal property. The group then attempted to take the victim's vehicle by forcing the victim out of the car, according to police. Police say the victim then attempted to drive off, with the suspects inside.

Police say the vehicle then collided with a parked car and damaged private property at a home next door. As the vehicle came to a stop, police say a witness intervened and the suspects took off.

Milford Police K-9 Division say they tracked the suspects from the crime scene to the suspects' home and arrested Timothy and Aubrey Jarvis, Jamaal Harpe, Kareem Trammell and Shadaira Harris on Tuesday.

Police say Harris was charged with second-degree reckless endangering, offensive touching, second-degree conspiracy and two counts of criminal mischief under $1,000. She was released on $3,500 unsecured bond.

Police say the other four were all charged with second-degree robbery, attempted car jacking, two counts of aggregated menacing, second-degree conspiracy, reckless endangering in the second-degree, offensive touching, and two counts of criminal mischief under $1,000. Timothy and Aubrey Jarvis and Jamaal Harpe were committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $1,050 cash bond. Kareem Trammell was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $23,500 secured bond.

Police say Sheena Floyd is still on the run and there are active warrants for her arrest.
