Community Pavilion Badly Damaged After Saturday Night Fire

MILLSBORO, Del.– Delaware fire officials are investigating a fire they say heavily damaged a community pavilion in Sussex County on Saturday night.

According to the Office of the Delaware State Fire Marshal, the fire occurred in the Rehoboth Shores Mobile Home Park off of Bay Boulevard at around 8:20 p.m.

Firefighters from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Companarrived on the scene to find the pavilion with bales of hay engulfed in flames.

Damage from the fire is estimated to be around $25,000, according to fire officials. There were no reported injuries.
