Waynesboro Man Sentenced for Slaying of Co-worker

WAYNESBORO, Va. (AP) - A Waynesboro man will spend more than 20 years in prison for the slaying of a co-worker.

Boyd Wiseman was accused of fatally shooting 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Earhart of Staunton at an F.D. Drake production facility in Waynesboro on Feb. 27, 2014. He entered Alford pleas in September 2014 to second-degree murder and a felony gun charge.

Media outlets report that the 54-year-old Wiseman was sentenced on Friday to a total 26 years in prison.
