Dover Woman Charged With Heroin Possession

Posted:

DOVER, Del. - Police say an ongoing drug investigation has led to the arrest of a Dover woman in possession of heroin.

The Dover Police Department Safe Streets Unit and Drug Unit, along with the Delaware State Police Drug Unit, made contact with 30-year-old Cassie Lynch Tuesday around 4 p.m. in the parking lot of the Home Depot on North DuPont Highway.

Officers say when they searched Lynch they found 50 bags or 0.75 grams of heroin. She was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lynch was released on $10,200 unsecured bond, according to police.
