Two Suspects Sought in Kenton Liquor Store Robbery

KENTON, Del. – Police are searching for two suspects they say robbed a Kenton liquor store with a gun Wednesday night.

According to Delaware State Police, at around 8:10 p.m. two male suspects, one with an unknown type of handgun, entered the Country Wine and Spirits, Inc., located at 31 South Main Street.

A 73-year-old female employee told state troopers the men demanded cash, and she complied. The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money westbound across South Main Street, leaving the clerk unharmed, according to police.

The suspects are described as males between 5-foot-5 and 6-feet tall, 150 to 180 pounds, dressed all in black with black masks covering their faces.
