DART Services on Time, Delays Expected Later Thursday

Posted: Updated:
DELAWARE - With another winter storm expected Thursday, officials with the DART bus service are reminding customers to check the bus schedules before they head out the door.

Officials say both fixed route and paratransit services were operating on the regular schedule Thursday morning, however an early shutdown of services is likely based on forecasted weather conditions. The National Weather Service is forecasting six to eight inches of snow falling throughout most of Delaware mainly during the daytime hours Thursday.

DART officials advise customers to check http://www.dartfirststate.com/ for updates throughout the day.

Transit officials remind everyone to use caution getting to bus stops due to potentially slippery conditions.  Delays can be expected.

Officials add that paratransit customers should have driveways and sidewalks cleared for their safety and the safety of the DART operators.

SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line is operating on a normal weekday service as of Thursday morning. Check http://www.septa.org/schedules/rail/ for updates.
