Maryland Woman Wanted On Charges of Fraud and Terroristic Threatening


HARTLY, Del. - The Delaware State Police are asking the public's assistance to locate a Maryland woman wanted on charges of fraud and terroristic threatening.

Troopers say the first incident took place in August of 2014 when Amanda J. Husfelt, 27, of Henderson, Md., allegedly used a 54-year-old male's credit card to purchase $470 of items at various locations in Hartly and Marydel.

Troopers say on February 11, Husfelt threatened to burn down a 60-year-old's residence after a verbal argument.

Husfelt is also wanted by Dover Police and the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a capias, according to police.

Anyone with information about Husfelt's whereabouts are asked to contact Troop 3 at 302-697-4454. Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via the internet at, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
