DART Schedule Operating With Some Exceptions

DOVER, Del. - Due to current road conditions, several DART routes are not running Friday.

New Castle County:

Rt. 8 -  suspended service

Kent County:

Rts. 103 & 105 - not serving Rodney Village

Rts. 109, 112, 113 & 120 - not serving Dover Mall

Rt. 117 - not serving PolyTech High School, Mifflin Meadows, Paris Villa or London Village.

Sussex County:

Paratransit service is suspended.  Conditions will be reassessed for a possible 9 AM start up.

Flex Routes 901, 902 & 903 - no deviations (off-route trips).

Delays can be expected on all services. 

Please use caution getting to bus stops due to potentially slippery conditions.

Paratransit customers - please have driveways and sidewalks cleared for your safety and the safety of our Operators.

SEPTA Wilmington/Newark line is operating normal weekday service.  Please use caution on platforms.  Check http://www.septa.org/schedules/rail/ for updates.

    Maryland State Police arrested 25-year-old Davonta M. Braxton, of Baltimore, Md.

    Officers say Braxton is charged in connection to the murder of 21-year-old Edmond St. Clair, who was a student at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). Braxton has been a student at the university, but is not currently enrolled, according to school records.

    Police Investigating Shooting in Snow Hill

    A Snow Hill man is in critical condition after a shooting Friday night. The Snow Hill Police Department responded to a shooting, or shots fired, call at around 7 p.m. at the intersection of W. Federal Street and Ross Street in Snow Hill. Police said they found Deron Raymont Ames, 25, of Snow Hill, laying along the edge of the roadway near the curb. Police said Ames was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
