DOVER, Del.- People in Delaware had to gear up for yet another winter storm. Thursday's weather event was another reminder from Mother Nature that the calendar may say March, but winter is still here.
For some, the snow was a winter wonderland. But for others, it was more like a winter nightmare.
"At first it was ok because I didn't think that we would get that much snow but now that it's getting closer to the end and it's getting a little icky, I don't like it at all," said Clarence Jefferson of Dover.
Jefferson had to spend his morning clearing off his car. It's something he's had to do one too many times.
"Hopefully this is the last storm so we can actually start you know enjoying spring time," said Jefferson.
He wasn't the only one. Jack LeCompte not too far away got an early start shoveling snow.
"I just tried to get a head of the game," said LeCompte. "Trying to get a lot of the snow off the driveway before it starts icing up before it gets too heavy to shovel."
He too is hopeful this will be the last time he has to bring out his shovel.
"I hope this is the last of it," said LeCompte. "I'm tired of cold weather."
While many are clearing off their cars and shoveling their driveways, people are counting down the days until spring is finally here.
