Delmar School District Referendum Passed


DELMAR – Voters have passed a Delmar School District referendum.

According to the district's Facebook page, both questions passed.

The first was to issue bonds for school construction, specifically to replace the roof and renovate Delmar middle and high school.

It passed 139 to 67 votes.

The second question was for a tax increase of 31 cents per $100 dollars of assessed value. The money would go towards staff salaries, building maintenance, and classroom materials.

That question passed 130 to 78 votes.
