Worcester Co. Business Busted for Underage Alcohol Sales

SNOW HILL, Md.- The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says alcohol compliance checks conducted at 36 businesses over the weekend resulted in just one selling alcohol to an underage person. 

The compliance checks were conducted Saturday, March 14 at businesses across the county. According to the Sheriff's Office, the following business sold alcohol to an underage individual:

- Whiskers Bar and Grill, Ocean Pines

The following businesses did not sell alcohol to underage persons, the Sheriff's Office said:

- West O Bottle Shop                                          

- Casey's Corner                                                   

- Local's Beer and Wine                                      

- Newark Station                                                 

- Town Market Basket                                      

- Duck In, Snow Hill                                            

- 7-Eleven, 106 N. Division St                                

- 7-Eleven, 139th St                              

- 7-Eleven, 9404 Coastal Highway                         

- 7-Eleven, 2611 Philadelphia Ave                         

7-Eleven, 5809 Coastal Highway                         

- 85th St. Wine Rack                                          

- Montego Bay Supermarket                         

- Royal Farm Store, 8307 Coastal Hwy          

- Shop Kwik
