Philadelphia Man Charged With DUI in Harrington

HARRINGTON, Del. – A Philadelphia man who officers say was driving more than 40 miles per hour over the speed limit will have to appear in front of a Kent County judge after he was charged with DUI in Harrington.

Harrington Police arrested Edmond E. Wiggins, 51, on Sunday after pulling him over for traveling 98 mph in a 55 mph zone on South DuPont Highway.

Officers say they administered field sobriety tests upon detecting the smell of alcohol in Wiggins' vehicle.

Wiggins was transported to the Harrington Police Department and charged with driving under the influence, speeding and driving an out-of-state vehicle without required insurance, according to police. He was released pending a future court appearance in Justice of the Peace Court 7.

    A woman who worked as a school nurse at Crisfield High School & Academy has been arrested and charged with sexual offenses involving four high school students, Maryland State Police said Wednesday.

    Samantha Marsh, 33, of Crisfield, is charged with 10 counts of fourth-degree sex offense, four counts of perverted practice, four counts of contributing to the condition of a child and one count of attempted fourth-degree sex offense.
