SALISBURY, Md.– Salisbury police are searching for two suspects wanted for an armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store that left an employee injured early Wednesday morning.

Officers say they arrived at the store on 516 Springhill Road around 4:15 a.m. The investigation revealed two suspects assaulted the clerk with a brick and a large piece of wood, and stole cigars before running away.

According to police, the clerk received only minor injuries in the attack and did not require medical attention.

Both suspects are described as black men wearing gloves and a shirt or other article of clothing over their faces. Police say the first suspect was wearing a white jacket and dark pants, while the second was dressed entirely in dark clothing.

Anyone who can identify either suspect is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
