Man's Car Burglarized While Helping Homeless in Easton

EASTON, Md.- Easton police are investigating a reported theft from a vehicle that is believed to have occurred while a man was helping the homeless. 

According to police, the investigation revealed the man's vehicle was parked in the Sun Trust parking lot Monday between 5:20 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., while he was delivering food to a homeless shelter. During that time period he had left a door open on his vehicle, according to police. They said that the next evening, the man's wife discovered her purse and a Canon Rebel camera were missing from the vehicle. The loss is estimated at approximately $1,100.
