Town of Georgetown Town Wide Clean Up

GEORGETOWN, Del.- The Town of Georgetown invites residents to participate in a week long “Spring Cleaning”. The event will include bulk item pick-up beginning on Monday, March 23, and will continue through Friday, March 27. Bulk item pick-up is in residential areas only and residents are requested to have items to be picked up on the curb by 7 a.m. according to the following schedule:

Monday, March 23: Ward 1 - Areas East of South Bedford Street and South of East Market Street

Tuesday, March 24: Ward 2 - Areas East of North Bedford Street and North of East Market Street

Wednesday, March 25: Ward 3 - Areas West of North Bedford Street and North of West Market Street

Thursday, March 26: Ward 4 - Areas West of South Bedford Street and South of West Market Street

Friday, March 27: As determined by the Director of Public Works

On Saturday, March 28, volunteers are needed for Town-wide clean up in targeted areas. This will happening between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Additional information can be found at Town Hall.
