CLAYTON, Del. – The Clayton Fire Company and the Citizen's Hose Company of Smyrna trained together on high rise fire fighting tactics on Monday, according to Clayton Fire.

The members of both companies trained on search and rescue techniques, locating and extinguishing a fire, ladder operations, and how to deal with the issues of fighting a fire in a high rise facility, according to fire officials.

Chief Robert Davis of the Clayton Fire Company said “both companies respond together on many fires through the year, so training together just makes sense”.

This class is just one of four classes that will take place over the next several weeks.
